Typps 2.3

description

1 Ms-Word Cleanup. Works much better now.
PLEASE remove the numerous "language tags": f. i. <span lang="FR"> when pasting from Word 2010 french !

2 French translation.
-Don't forget the french dictionnary!
-Translation not optimal: "OK" buttons should be translated "OK" instead of "D'accord";
translation of the tooltip "delete selected element" shoud be "supprimer l'élément sélectionné" instead of "supprimer l&#39élement sélectionné"

3 Create a link dialog: needs improvement, see attached pictures (IE8)
The url field should be the focus on; the dialog is not modal ?

4 PLEASE foldback long lines in html view (the most important because editable) and non editable html view!

5 I don't understand why the "increase indent" doesn't work in my own project (Editor without any properties), I wait for your updated demo.

Thank you beforehand.

1 - Yes, it is rather annoying. I'll fix it in this iteration
2 - The french dictionary has been on my mind. I will try to add it in this iteration
  • As for translations what you see in french is done by my automated tool that simply generated the language resource by translating it in google translate. So there are most likely many more mistakes. I will add your suggestions. Let me know if there are more.
3 - In IE8 i see a perfectly working dialog. I have included a screenshot in the attachment. let me know if I misunderstood.
4 - line wrappings are already supported but it's a hidden feature. I basically plan to add a checkbox to toggle line wrapping. You must double click in HtmlView to toggle line wrappings ( it's just temporary solution). I will add a checkbox soon.

5- I didn't add the change you suggested about the indentation being mislabeled. I will add it in this iteration.

Thank you for all the reports.

Have a good day,

Alessandro

Thank you for these improvements.
3 - I don't know what's the reason, but the hyperlink dialog in my project remains actually as shown in Create-a-link.gif (controls witout borders). If I start to type immedaitely without clicking first in the dialog, typed characters appear in the main window and not in the dialog!
Besides that, a <browse> button to choose a local file-url would be appreciated, likewise the increasing the size of the url textbox.
I shall investigate further after my holidays.
Thank you.

Hubert, you can also use the hyperlink designer to browse the server for files ( just like the image picker) complete with treeview to list your files on the server and includes a file upload option too.

It works in pretty much the same way as the image picker, that is you will be filling treenodes and creating your hierarchy of files on the server. The documentation I'm writing for the HTML is still a work in progress but I should finish it in the coming days and this will all be much more clear.

You'll have to enable it first though, EnableFileBrowser="true" and you must subscribe to the serverside handler OnBrowseFilesServerRequest ( this is where you start filling your treenodes ) and OnFileUploaded event handler if you want to allow file uploads by setting EnableFileUpload="true"..

It's not as complex as it sounds. In a few days I will have a detailed document online and some sample pages.

Enjoy your holidays :)
