Typps does not work when EnableCDN="true" is enabled on the (Toolkit)ScriptManager

description

When setting EnableCDN="true" on the (Toolkit)ScriptManager, the editor will not switch between Design View and HTML view. This was tested with Jiffycms.Net.Toolkit.dll version 2.0.1.1, ASP.NET 4 and the lastest AjaxControlToolkit (version 40412).

Hmm, after further testing it doesn't work with either EnableCDN="true" or "false". Same result with the ScriptManager and ToolkitScriptManager...

Switching between Design View and HTML just doesn't work.

Even some more testing.. it DOES work with FireFox 3.6.8, but NOT with IE 8

Conclusive tests... it works when compiling against the .net 3.5 framework, not 4.0

A workaround seems to be setting <httpRuntime requestValidationMode="2.0"/> under <system.web>

hello, you must add <httpRuntime requestValidationMode="2.0"/> and individually disable request validation in the page directive where the editor is sitting. This is due to a breaking change in requestValidation made in .net 4.0 (EnableCDN has only effect on the asp.net script files which will be served from CDN as opposted to being served by the server where the application is hosted) so that shouldn't effect you when switching from designview/htmlview in the editor.
