Release Notes

Fixed a bug in the range object that was causing insertion
of elements (specifically images) to break to the next line in IE when a certain condition was met.

Added hilighting for h1-h6 elements in designview

Removed html hilighting when previewing html in color code (by clicking the color coded html view tab).

Toolbar items were losing the shader that disabled them when resizing or scrolling the document window whilst not in designview. Fixed now.

Fixed script blocks disappearing from the htmleditor if you entered script blocks eg: <script type="text/javascript">alert('hi');</script> ; mostly when this block is entered as the first line, it mysteriously disappears in IE. This is a problem with ie and innerHTML itself. The problem has been corrected now.

IE loves to change all relative links and make them absolute. This is unwanted behavior. It has been fixed now.

When an element was missing a single quote eg: <input type="text" value="some default text />

Note the absence of a double quote in the value attribute. If you do this in IE and switch to designview, the element disappears mysteriously. This has now been fixed. Now prior to a toggle from htmlview to designview, the html is first validated and then only toggled. Previously, html was validated only when toggling from designview to htmlview. Now the behavior is consistent between both modes.

The image picker now sports a new event that you can subscribe to during the Browse server request eg :

protected void Editor1_BrowseServerRequest(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
//This handler fires when :
//1) You click the Browse Server button on the Image designer dialog for the first time
//2) When you use the file upload button to upload an image, and then clicking Browse server again will trigger this
//3) This is indeed the best place to enumerate your images and it fires during pre_render phase
//this means quite late in the page life cycle giving you a lot of time to do other things
//such as saving your files on the server during a file upload operation *before* building
//the nodes for the gallery.
EnumerateImagesOnServer();
}

This release makes the editor quite robust. In the next release there will be new features and controls to enjoy.
