Bugs fixed :
When deleting rows via the table designer, the tbody and table element remained orphaned in the document when the last row or column was deleted. This is fixed now and if the last row/column gets deleted, the table goes along with it.
The clientside range class "JiffycmsToolkit.Range" has been rewritten. Apart from the heavy refactoring work and corrections that has come with this rewrite, we now sport a new public method (clientside) for inserting data/elements at the cursor location or selection.
For the live demo on how to use this simple public api go here : http://www.jiffycms.net/demo/EditorJsCursorLocation.aspx
You can now define css class in a style sheet/sheets of your chosing and associate the style sheet with the editor. Further, you can add classes of your chosing from these stylesheets and have them enumerated in the editor, allowing a dropdownlist selection of css classes applicable at designtime on the editor.
While this is not a new feature, it was quite buggy. I am now reintroducing this feature with bug fixes and sample code. For the live demo go here : http://www.jiffycms.net/demo/CssClassList.aspx
When inserting images via the ImagePicker within the HTML Editor, multiple duplicate images were being added depending on how manytimes the picker was accessed. All fixed now :http://www.jiffycms.net/demo/ImageBrowser.aspx
The samples download has been updated with these changes too and now sports 4 new tutorials.
Removed css caching. This was causing some unexpected problems and the feature wasn't bringing much to the table, so it's gone now.
Swedish resource has been corrected. This is provided by Anders. One day, we shall have a dedicated page on www.jiffycms.net to thank Anders and others like him in a more appropriate way :-)
Added swedish dictionary.
This is a revision release with minimum features but a lot of bug fixes. The next release (coming soon..very soon, will have some new features, actually let me say that again, VERY SOON
, so stay tuned).
if you find some unexpected behavior, i encourage you to report it on the forum http://www.jiffycms.net/forum/default.aspx ; I will prioritize based on severity and fix accordingly. It's unlikely you will wait long, don't worry.
The text property of the editor was getting saved in viewstate resulting in un-necessary data going back and forth and bloating up viewstate when not required. This is an optional setting now and the default is not to store anything in viewstate, but rather, the data is collected directly from the forms collection. If you require viewstate on this property, specifically to tell if data had changed or not ( so you can proceed to saving serverside if your app worked in this manner, then simply enable it). The new property specific to this setting is "EnableViewStateOnRichText".
